Happy Holidays!


A catchall post for a variety of holidays for the R2-crew, set in the penthouse. Maybe you're decorating, and watching Anna set up nativity scenes faster than Mephisto can take them back down. Or maybe you're making holiday cookies, or eating a large meal (maybe even thanksgiving dinner???). Multi-Denominational Holiday party, that Anna has somehow broken Riley out of Juvie for, yowling about the first-amendment, which she's never studied? Or maybe it's time to just spend with friends and family, and play mean tricks on each other. Watch out for the Mistletoe!

[Religious holiday or no, Mephisto has had enough lecturing from his collective family over the past few weeks to know that it's developed beyond that. For him, it's a celebration of family. And who was Christine if not one of the most important members of said family.

Mephisto's package for Christine is small, little more than the size of a legal envelope. In fact, as Christine tears away the wrapping, she'll find exactly that tucked within.

There are a collection of papers within, all in legalese. What's most notable is the check at the bottom, adorned with far too many zeroes.

The title?

The Demonic School of Princess-Actresses Achievement Scholarship.

And if Christine does bother to read the fine print, she'll find that said "scholarship" is eligible for any school she might choose.]

[She may only skim the legalese, but she can pick out enough words there to know what this is about. When she sees the check at the bottom, she nearly feels dizzy at the amount.

Shr won't have to worry about grants and student loans. She doesn't have to worry about her parents doubting her dream of being on stage. All she needs to do with this is work hard and what she wants will surely come true.

She looks up at Mephisto, swallowing down a lump in her throat.]

You... really believe in me, huh? Choosing me as your scholarship 'winner.'
